Join two passionate Italian restaurateurs, Lucio Galletto of Lucio’s and Armando Percuoco of Buon Ricordo at this fun and informative hands-on class.
You’ll see the maestros in action, where they will be ‘explaining’ the many differences between Northern and Southern Italian cuisine – and then cook and eat the dishes yourselves with a wine tasting.
You will learn a little, laugh a little and love the experience.

Lucio & The Art
Over the years Lucio has built an extensive collection of amazing works of many Australian artists.
This is how it began…
In 1984 Sidney Nolan’s first visit to Lucio’s was as part of the Burke & Wills movie wrap dinner. (He was a consultant on the film). Sidney enjoyed his meal very much & during the evening sketched this simple Ned Kelly for Lucio on an order docket.

Lucio was so delighted that he spent a small fortune having it framed as beautifully as he could, and hung it proudly in his new restaurant.
On his return, Sidney was similarly delighted by Lucio’s appreciation and care, and he kept on returning for many more meals bringing other artists with him. Thus began a beautiful relationship of mutual respect and appreciation of art and food that continues to this day.
